Alex & Steve’s wedding day was a beautifully styled affair, featuring a natural colour palette of greens, dusty pinks and cream, reflected in Alex’s stunning Pronovias wedding dress, her bridesmaids outfits and the unique, relaxed flowers by our favourite lady The Basement Florist which decorated their venue from top to bottom.

Alex and her family worked on DIY decorations on the run up to the day, including popcorn favours for every guest, handmade confetti cones and strings of photos from their lives together to give their day that wonderful personal touch and really make the venue their own.

Congratulations Alex & Steve, it was a true honour to photograph your day and we wish you every happiness for the future!

Nic & Wilf: Outdoor North Hill Farm Tipi Wedding

One of the things that makes a great wedding day is when a couple create a day that is completely true to themselves, and this is exactly what Nic and Wilf achieved with their gorgeous day.

They held their relaxed, sunny wedding day at North Hill Farm, planned in just 5 months or so! For their personal woodland ceremony, they walked down the aisle to a friend playing the ukulele, with guests and loved ones sat on hay bale pews as they said their vows with the sun shining through the trees.

Their vintage-themed tipi wedding reception featured garden games, sack races, a caravan photo booth and an ice cream van, and it was non-stop fun for everybody involved, with a real focus on creating a relaxed, summer feel to the celebrations. For their wedding breakfast, everybody shared afternoon tea with almost limitless amounts of Victoria sponge! They topped off the night by opting for a ceilidh band instead of a traditional first dance, with everybody joining in and dancing the night away, with a bonfire nearby and hog roast fighting off the September evening chill.

We are so thrilled to say that their day has been featured HERE on the incredible wedding blog Mr & Mrs Unique - a real highlight to end our 2015 wedding season on!

Laurie & Simon: Lansdowne Club Mayfair Wedding

There were no words for quite how excited we were to photograph Laurie & Simon's London wedding in September! We love it when couples become friends during the wedding planning process and that personal connection tied with the stunning setting of the Lansdowne Club in Mayfair told us it was going to be an amazing day.

The Lansdowne Club made the perfect setting for their day. Each room is incredible in its own way and the Drawing Room in which they held their ceremony was no exception. Laurie's gorgeous Cymbeline dress was a wonderful vintage find, and with her classic updo and vintage peachy bouquet she looked absolutely beautiful.

Congratulations Laurie & Simon! And thank you so much for asking us to photograph your beautiful day. It was an honour and a privilege to be there.

Jenny & Dan: Vibrant Humanist Barn Wedding at Barford Park

I have to start this post with a huge thank you to Elly Lucas, who ever so kindly asked me to second shoot this beautiful wedding with her. It's always such a joy to shoot with her!

From the moment we arrived at Barford Park, there were vibrant colours everywhere you looked, from the colourful fabric and fairy lights that draped the barn, to the beautiful wild flowers and amazing yellow Citroen 2CV that the bride arrived in! Jenny looked incredible in her unique backless Laure de Sagazan dress with her hair studded in blue and purple flowers.

Their heartfelt humanist ceremony was held under two huge drapes of rainbow-coloured fabric, with a ribbon-filled tree at the end of the aisle. One of my favourite touches of the entire day had to be their ceremony featuring everybody singing "It Must Be Love", with brass instrument accompaniment by the bride's brother and father. A truly lovely idea.

Anne & Will: Old Warden Mansion House Wedding

There is nothing better than a wedding day that not only celebrates love, but is ridiculously fun for the guests too! And what better way to do that than having a games room for your guests at your wedding reception?

Anne & Will not only set up garden games, but a full size Scalextric track, a Nintendo Wii and even an air hockey table, and surprised their guests with it right after the wedding breakfast. Amazing!
