There is nothing better than a wedding day that not only celebrates love, but is ridiculously fun for the guests too! And what better way to do that than having a games room for your guests at your wedding reception?

Anne & Will not only set up garden games, but a full size Scalextric track, a Nintendo Wii and even an air hockey table, and surprised their guests with it right after the wedding breakfast. Amazing!

Jason & Rachael were married on a beautiful sunny day in August - one of the hottest days of the year! They made their vows in Renhold All Saints Church, which has got to be one of the most beautiful churches we have had the honour of photographing as the August sunshine poured through the windows and lit their ceremony beautifully. You couldn't have asked for better weather!

Their celebrations continued at the Woodland Manor Hotel in Bedford, and we were lucky enough to sneak out just after the food to get some portraits in the golden hour - our absolute favourite time of day!

Jason & Rachael, thank you both so much for choosing us to photograph your day! It was a true privilege to be there.

On a beautiful sunny day at the beginning of August, Shauna & Rushton married at a wonderful church ceremony in King's Walden, followed by celebrations and garden games at the Priory Barn in Little Wymondley. A wonderful, relaxed day for the two loveliest people.

The grounds of the barn were bursting with vividly coloured flowers, the perfect backdrop for portraits and every photographer's dream. We also managed to sneak out after the speeches for a few sneaky golden hour photos of Shauna & Rushton as a newly married couple as the sun set.. always a winner!

Congratulations you two and thank you ever so much for choosing us to photograph your day! We loved every second :-)

Amy & James: Scottish Wedding at the Bedford Barns Hotel

Amy & James' wedding was our very first at the Barns Hotel in Bedford, set on a gorgeous July day. They managed to plan their entire day from Scotland with the help of family down south, which we greatly admire as we know how difficult it was planning our own.. which was less than half of that distance away!

They draped the tithe barn in fairy lights and adorned the place with gorgeous handmade decorations, all themed around their world travels, featuring themed cocktails and sweets for every guest, a table for each country and polaroids of their wonderful travel photos strung across the walls.

Thank you Amy & James - it was an honour to capture your beautiful wedding day!

Lucia & Fabio: Swiss Italian Lake Maggiore Wedding

The opportunity to photograph Lucia & Fabio's beautiful wedding day has got to be one of the biggest highlights of our careers - it's a huge honour when another photographer asks you to photograph their wedding, and even more of one when you are flying overseas to do it!

The setting for their way was a town in southern Switzerland next to the stunning Lake Maggiore, starting at a small local church surrounded by a garden of roses, and then a stunning hotel for their celebrations. The weather changed from thunderstorms to blazing sunshine at the last minute, and the glorious sunshine they have there is like nothing else I have seen in the UK!

Lucia & Fabio were driven to their wedding reception in Fabio's car, driving through the Swiss streets with a convoy of beeping cars behind them! An incredible atmosphere, and one that Graham got to experience whilst hanging out of a car boot photographing it all (!)

One of the best parts of our job is being able to experience such joy, love and happiness at weddings and Lucia & Fabio's day was no different. From their fingerprinted wedding rings, to the touching videos they each made for each other to share at the reception, it was an honour and a privilege to be there in this celebration of their love capturing it all.

Lucia & Fabio, thank you for asking us to come all the way to Switzerland to photograph your day. We left having made two friends for life, and will never forget your wedding day!
