Alex & Matt: Relaxed Outdoor Wedding at Newton Park Farm

After the pandemic rescheduled their wedding quite a few times, Alex and Matt’s wedding day finally came around and it was absolutely worth the wait! And to top it all off I got to work with one of my favourite videographers, Jade from Hushabye Films who brought even more fun to the day.

Their day was my first time photographing a wedding at Newton Park Farm in Bedfordshire and I absolutely loved it. It’s a brilliant venue for couples wanting a relaxed, personal day and there are so many brilliant backdrops for photos, in particular the beautiful rolling fields and clear blue skies we were lucky enough to have on their day.

Alex looked incredible in her Suzanne Neville dress and Matt’s tweed suit was perfect for a farm wedding, as was their choice of a Land Rover for their wedding car! They married on the lawn by the lake with a friend officiating and their loved ones gathered around before starting the party off with an epic confetti run.

Dinner and speeches took place in the brick barn which looked fantastic decked out in fairy lights with greenery trailing down the long wooden tables. After dinner, we nipped out with the wedding party to take some epic photos as they held brightly coloured smoke bombs. It made for the most brilliant, memorable photos and was so much fun.

And if we couldn’t have asked for more, we were rewarded with the most incredible golden hour and capturing those evening moments in the field with Alex and Matt just made for the perfect ending to their photos!

Thank you both so much for having me along to capture your day. It was such a privilege to finally get to capture you celebrating with everyone you love and I wish you every happiness!

ā€œYou have captured our day so beautifully and we cannot stop smiling looking through these. We can’t wait to share with our friends and family! Both the candid and more formal images have caught so many smiles from the day and we couldn’t ask for more!ā€
